Marinay Made is a small shop in Reno, Nevada, selling handmade resin art. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit marinaymade.com, buy from us or send us a message, and what we do with it. Questions are welcome through our contact page or at support@marinaymade.com.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, billing and shipping addresses, and what you bought.
- When you pay: payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- If you create an account: your login details and order history, so you can follow your orders and check out faster.
- When you contact us: your name, email address and message, and any photos you attach. When photos arrive, we remove the details cameras store inside them, such as where a photo was taken.
- When you browse: our web server keeps standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To process, pack and ship your order, and to send you order and shipping emails.
- To answer your messages, including requests for custom pieces.
- To keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.
- To protect the shop and our customers from fraud and abuse.
We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t send marketing emails.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the shop needs to work: remembering your cart, keeping you signed in and completing checkout. We don’t use advertising or analytics tracking cookies, and our fonts and images load from our own server. Our payment processor may set its own cookies during checkout to help prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
We share only what each one needs to do its job:
- our payment processor, to take your payment;
- shipping carriers, such as the U.S. Postal Service, to deliver your order;
- the services that host our website and deliver our email;
- authorities, when the law requires it.
We don’t sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Orders: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Messages from our contact form, and any photos sent with them: deleted automatically 12 months after we receive them.
- Accounts: until you ask us to delete yours.
- Server logs: for a short time, for security and troubleshooting.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, including your account. Contact us and we’ll take care of it. We may need to keep some records, such as past orders, where the law requires.
Nevada residents: Nevada law lets you opt out of the sale of certain personal information. We don’t sell personal information, but you’re welcome to send an opt-out request to support@marinaymade.com, and we’ll confirm it.
Children
Our shop isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only the people who run the shop can see customer information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
