These terms apply when you buy from marinaymade.com. By placing an order, you agree to them. “We” and “us” mean Marinay Made, of Reno, Nevada.
Handmade and one of a kind
Every piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Ready-made pieces are photographed individually, and the piece you receive is the one in the photos. Colors can look slightly different from one screen to another. Small bubbles, swirls and variations in the resin are part of the handmade process, not defects.
Orders and prices
Prices are in US dollars. Placing an order is an offer to buy, and we accept it when we confirm it by email. If a price or listing is wrong, or a piece turns out to be unavailable, we’ll tell you and refund anything you paid.
Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor.
Taxes and duties
We charge sales tax where the law requires it, such as on orders delivered in Nevada. Orders shipped to Canada may owe import duties or taxes on arrival, and those are the buyer’s responsibility.
Shipping
We ship to the United States and Canada. Delivery times are estimates from the carrier and aren’t guaranteed. If a package arrives damaged or goes missing, see our Refund and Returns Policy.
Custom and made-to-order work
For a custom piece, we agree on the design, price and timing with you before we start. Because custom and made-to-order pieces are made just for you, they’re final sale. Timelines are our best estimate, since resin needs time to cure, and we’ll tell you if anything changes.
Care and safety
- Unless a listing says otherwise, our pieces are decorative and not meant for food or drink.
- Keep resin away from high heat, long periods of direct sunlight and harsh chemicals.
- Jewelry and small pieces aren’t toys. Keep them away from young children, who could choke on small parts.
- If you have a metal allergy, ask us about the findings on a piece before you buy.
Returns
Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund and Returns Policy.
Our designs and photos
Our designs, photos and text belong to Marinay Made. Please don’t copy or reuse them without our permission.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Washoe County, Nevada.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
